just to mix with other people?
Ali : I don`t really know – it`s a combination of all three, but the main reason is
because I want to do something with other people of my own age.

Omar : Of course. You see, sports like squash are individual sports – you have to beat
the person you are playing alone.
Ali : Yes, I see. And basketball is a team sport.

and can`t win team games without working with those other people. If you
ask me , I think you`d enjoy a team sport like basketball. More than an
individual sport.
Ali : So do you think I should choose basketball?
Omar : No, I don`t. You need to be very tall to be a good basketball player. What
other team games can you do at the sports centre?
Ali : There`s football, but I already play that. And there`s hockey.
Omar : Well, why don`t you try hockey? I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Ali : Thanks Omar. I'm definitely going to try hockey.
Omar : A good choice. I think you'll be very good at it.


Reading Text:
Cooperation
A friend who is playing in an important football match this afternoon asks for advice. What will you say? "I think you should try to score lots of goals"? This is helpful, but perhaps the best advice is "Don't forget you're part of a team. Pass the ball to other players."
There are many situations where groups of people need to cooperate lo' succeed, for example, surgeons, who work with a team of doctors and nurses to help patients; or scientists who have to work in large, complex teams to send people into space.

Animals also cooperate. For example, lions hunt their prey in packs, and elephants live in family groups to bring up their young and protect ill members. In a recent experiment, scientists, showed that even birds can cooperate on . complex 'jobs'. Two birds were put into a cage with a box if food outside. The birds could see the food, but they had to pull pieces of string attached to the box to get the food into their cage. If only one bird pulled a string, the box did not move. However, if both birds pulled the 'strings at the same time, they moved the box and got the food.

To he a successful team member, you may need to cooperate with people who are very different from you and who you may not like. To succeed, you will have to show tolerance and work with these people. Imagine what would happen if a nurse refused to help a doctor.








Future verb forms

لاحظ استخدام will مع الأدوات التالية:
After
Before
As soon as + مضارع بسيط أو مضارع تام + will + inf.
When
مستقبل منفي (will not) + till / until + مضارع بسيط أو مضارع تام
- He will look for a job. Hw will graduate from university. (When)
= When he graduates from university, he will look for a job.
- As soon as he finishes his homework, he will watch TV. (until)
= He won`t watch TV until he finishes his homework.

going to
We use "am/is/are going to + inf. for :
1- plans , intentions and decisions.
2- prediction with evidence.
نستخدم am/is/are going to + inf. عند التعبير عن:

Present continuous
يستخدم المضارع المستمر للتعبير عن المستقبل مع الترتيبات والخطط المكتملة arrangements and completed plans.
- He has arranged to visit the museum next month. (visiting)
= He is visiting the museum next month.
- They have planned to go to the summer resort next July. (going)
= They are going to the summer resort next July.
- I have planned to spend the next weekend in Sharm Al-Sheikh. (spending)
= I`m spending the next weekend in Sharm Al-Sheikh.
Wh-question

The United Nations have declared the years 2005 to 2014 the world decade on "Education for Sustainable Development". Marie Curie was one of the most accomplished scientists in history. Together with her husband, Pierre, she discovered radium, an element widely used for treating cancer, and studied uranium and other radioactive substances. Pierre and Marie's amicable collaboration later helped to unlock the secrets of the atom. Marie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, Poland, where her father was a professor of physics. At the early age, she displayed a brilliant mind and a blithe personality. Her great exuberance for learning prompted her to continue with her studies after high school. She became disgruntled, however, when she learned that the university in Warsaw was closed to women. Determined to receive a higher education, she defiantly left Poland and in 1891 entered the Sorbonne, a French university, where she earned her master's degree and doctorate in physics.
Marie was fortunate to have studied at the Sorbonne with some of the greatest scientists of her day, one of whom was Pierre Curie. Marie and Pierre were married in 1895 and spent many productive years working together in the physics laboratory. أخى العزيز لقد بذلت جهدا كبيرا حقا وأسلوب شيق ولكن طريقة رفعك للعمل على البوابة تقلل من قيمته لأنه يحتاج أن ينسخه القاريء ليتمكن من الحكم عليه ولذا ياحبذا لو رفعته مباشرة من جهازك دون أن تأخذه نسخة فى خانة الكتابة تمنياتى لك بالتوفيقوأكمل المسيرة وفقك الله وأين الوحدات الأولى

السيد الفاضل صاحب الموضوع الجميل فعلاً عمل مميز و لكن أكيد لو رفعته ملف word على المنتدى هيكون أفضل .......... بارك الله فيكم.
