Read the following passage then answer the questions

One of the most remarkable of migrations is that taken each autumn by the North American monarch butterfly. Often called "the wanderer", it is tough and powerful as butterflies go, and is capable of long flights at speeds of 20 miles per hour or more. Monarch butterflies have been observed within 200 miles of the coast of England, although they are not native to Europe.
The monarch produces as many as four generations a year. It is the last of these that migrates before the beginning of winter. From as far north as Canada, swarms of butterflies begin gathering from their homes in the fields, clinging to trees and bushes by the thousands. Then, on just the right breeze, they rise in a red cloud and head south. Not all get there. But enough do to ensure the survival of the species until the following spring.

Unfortunately, devices that are meant to save lives can be a threat to life. The air bag is such a device. Air bags were designed to expand rapidly in an accident. However, an air bag is not a soft pillow. It delivers a blow that can seriously injure or kill a child or small adult. Children should not sit in the front passenger seat of a vehicle that has a passenger air bag. Children are always safer in the back seat. And of course, all passengers should use their seat belts. Take your example from race car drivers. They know how to increase their chances of surviving a crash. The day will come when vehicles are equipped with “smart” air bags that automatically adjust their force to the size and weight of a passenger. But for now, each of us has to be smart about these imperfect “life savers”.
