What is the paragraph ?

البراجراف : هو عبارة عن مجموعة من الجمل تدور حول نقطة واحدة أساسية أو محورية وغالبا ما توضع هذه النقطة الاساسية فى جملة تكون قريبة من بداية البراجراف و تسمى بالجملة الاساسية ( topic sentence )
ثم يبدأ الطالب فى شرح وتوضيح هذه الجملة فى بقية البراجراف وهو عبارة عن تفصيل ما تم إجماله فى الجملة المحورية كـــ :
1- ذكـــــر الـمـزايــــــــا أو الـعـيــــــــوب0
2- عــقــــــــــــــــد الــمــقارنــــــــــــــــة0
3- الاسباب و النتائج و الحلول المقترحة0
4- دور الافــــــــــراد والــحــكــومـــــــــة0
5- ثم ختام ذلك بخاتمة توجز ما تم شرحه فى شكل خلاصة أو نصيحة أو تحذير0

تعليمات هامة ينبغى إتباعها عند كتابة الفقرة الانشائية :

1- ينبغى أن تكون بداية ونهاية الموضوع مكتوبة بشكل يجذب انتباه القارىْ0
2- ترتيب الجمل منطقيا بحيث تؤدى الجملة إلى الثانية وهكذا0
3- وحدة الافكار كى تعبر عن الموضوع الذى تكتب عنه بشكل مترابط0
4- استخدم الجمل القصيرة والبسيطة0
5- تدوين الافكار قبل البداية0
6- لابد من تحديد طبيعة الازمنة حسب نوع الموضوع , فإذا تناول الموضوع
مشكلة عامة مثل البطالة , أو التلوث , أو إرتفاع الاسعارفإن الزمن المستخدم
غالبا ما يكون المضارع البسيط وأحيانا المضارع التام ؛وكذلك الحال لو كان
الموضوع مناقشة لموضوع هام مثل تكنولوجيا المعلومات , أو القراءة , أو
الكمبيوتر , أو دور الشباب0 وإذا تناول مثلا تجربة شخصية كحادثة أو رحلة
فيكون الزمن ماضيا0 وإذا تناول الموضوع ما يتمناه الشخص أن يصبح فى
المستقبل نستخدم زمن المستقبل0
7- مراعاة البناء اللغوى السليم للجملة بأن تبدأ الجملة بالفاعل ثم الفعل ثم المفعول
8- مراعاة الاستخدام الصحيح لعلامات الترقيم 0
9- أن تترك مسافة تعادل خمسة حروف فى السطر الاول فقط من الموضوع0
10- اجتهد فى تحسين الخط وذلك بترك مسافة بين كل كلمة وأخرى فهذا يعطى
انطباعا جيدا للمصحح ويسهل عليه فهم ما تريد التعبير عنه0

جمل وتعبيرات تصلح لموضوعات نـافـعــة

1- نضع فى الفراغ الموجود فى هذه التعبيرات كلمة أو عبارة تمثل الموضوع0
2- ليس شرطا أن يبدأ الطالب الموضوع بمقدمة من هذه ولكن يمكن أن يبدأ
بجملة topic من عنده حسب الموضوع المطلــوب0

1- لابد أن يكون الزمن المستخدم فى تركيب الجمل هو الماضى بأنواعه المختلفة0
2- راعى التسلسل المنطقى للقصة أو الحدث0
3- يمكن أن تبدأ بهذه العبارات :

1- Life in the future

Life in the future will be more easier and comfortable than our life today. Every family will own its high-tech home. The sun will provide us with the energy we need. Every home will have two or three computers and everyone will talk to their friends on the internet. Our cities will be cleaner and quieter. I think we will travel more as planes will be faster and cheaper. Perhaps planes will fly to the moon.

2- Friends

Friends are either good or bad. Some of them are worthy of respect while others are hateful ones. Personally, I like helpful friends who are ready to stand by me in time of troubles, and share my joy and sorrow. Moreover, man has no choice in making friends, but he should be careful when befriends anyone. He must test him in some situations before he reveals any of his secrets. Among friends I feel warmth and brotherhood. To sum up, a friend in need is a friend indeed.

3- The value of Reading

Reading is fun. It's the food of the mind. With reading we never feel lonely. Through reading, we gain the experience of others. It provides us with information in all branches of knowledge, in Science, in Technology, in Arts …..etc. Reading has a good effect on our behaviour, it helps us to be good citizens. Moreover, Reading helps us to develop our characters, and enables us to understand the world we live in. To sum up, reading enlightens man and makes him aware of modern changes that occur around him.

4- Pollution

Pollution is one of the most serious problems in the world. Air and water pollution are bad for both people and environment. Harmful fumes, chemicals and waste cause pollution. Pollution levels are dangerously high in most countries. Air and water are dirty and dangerous. Means of transport, factories and people themselves pollute the air, the water and the soil. People have caught lots of diseases as a result of pollution. Finally, this problem needs an urgent solution to help people live a healthy and comfortable life.

5- The Olympic Games

The Olympic Games take place every four years. The international committee chooses the country that hosts the games on its land. Countries compete to get that honour for several reasons. In addition to the great reputation the country acquires on the political side, it becomes wonderfully touristy. Thousands of players and their supporters, reporters, cameramen and news agents visit the country. Many arrangements are to be made to meet the requirements of such huge numbers of visitors. Big hotels and restaurants are to be set up. New wide roads are paved. Immense stadiums for all types of games are founded. Sometimes, an "Olympic City" is established outside the capital.

6- A person you respect ( admire )

I respect my grandmother. Her whole life has been a complete struggle. She refused to give up hope, she was able to raise three boys with little or no help. My grandmother's strength and determination never ceased to amaze me. She was determined to raise her kids the right way. Although she had a hard time she rarely showed it.

7- The job I would like to do

My great aspiration is to become a physician (doctor).

In order to be able to join the Faculty of Medicine, I must acquire a very high score in the secondary school certificate. This can be accomplished through a great persistence and strenuous efforts. Learning in the Faculty of Medicine is no easy job. In addition to the different subjects I have to master, there is the practical side which needs a lot of skill. The main function of a physician is to treat his patients and to help them overcome their diseases. Finally, I think I shall enjoy my hard work, will my dream come true? I hope so.

تعتمد كتابة الرسالة على التنظيم والتنسيق الجيد لما تكتبه ولضمان الحصول على الدرجة كاملة اتبع التالى وبكل دقة :
1- كن محددا للغرض الذى تكتب من أجله الخطاب ولا تكتب تفاصيل غير ضرورية0
2- اكتب بأسلوب التحادث العادى وليس بأسلوب أدبى
3- مراعاة البناء اللغوى السليم للجملة وعلامات الترقيم
4- الزم الجمل القصيرة البسيطة الواضحة المعنى

*عند الترجمة من اللغة الانجليزية الى اللغة العربية:
1- لابد من قراءة القطعة مرة أو أكثر من مرة لفهم الفكرة العامة.
2- استخراج الكلمات الجديدة وحاول تخمين معنى تلك الكلمات .
- ويمكن ذلك من خلال المعنى العام الذى تدور حوله الفكرة.
- ومن خلال سياق الجملة ذاتها.
*مثال

- يلاحظ هنا ان كلمة participate كلمة جديدة لم يتعرض لها الطالب فى دراسته ولكن من خلال تخمين المعنى
- ينبغى على كل فرد ان ............... يفعل الخير من اجل الاخرين
- والآن حاول ان تستنتج معنى الكلمات الجديدة من خلال الأمثلة التالية

- After the lion had killed its prey, it carried it to its den.

- He went so furious with his brother that he hit him on his hand.

3- عند الترجمة الى اللغة العربية يفضل ان تبدأ الجملة بالفعل

كسر على النافذة Ali broke the window.

- اذا كانت الجملة الانجليزية فى صيغة المبنى للمجهول يفضل ترجمتها فى صيغة المعلوم

The window was broken by Ali.

- يفضل البعد عن الترجمة الحرفية . وعليك صياغة القطعة بأسلوب أفضل لغويا وذلك من خلال كلمات أو تعبيرات تضيف للمعنى بلاغة دون اخلال بروح القطعة

* Translate into Arabic :

1- Tourists come to Egypt from all over the world. They enjoy our fine weather and see our ancient monuments. We should encourage tourism to make a lot of money.

2- To be a good student. You should be polite and hard working. You should also regulate your time and study hard from the first day of school. Moreover, you should follow your teacher's advice.

3- Money is very important in our life. With the help of money, we get our needs such as food, clothes and medicines. Yet, money can't give us health, happiness or love.

* كيفية الترجمة من اللغة العربية إلى اللغة الانجليزية :
1- قراءة الجملة المطلوب ترجمتها قراءة جيدة

2- يلاحظ ضرورة أن تبدأ الجملة بالفاعل ثم الفعل مع مراعاة زمن الفعل
3- إذا كان الفاعل ضميرا مستترا لابد من إظهاره عند الترجمة إلى الانجليزية

ذهبوا إلى الحفل أمس They went to the party yesterday.

4- اذا كانت الجملة اسمية (بدون فعل) لابد من استخدام فعل be

5- لاحظ أن الصفة فى الانجليزية تـأتى قبل الاسم الموصوف

6- أن / لقد توكيدية لا تترجم إذا وجد ظرف زمان

7- ( لقد ) بدون ظرف زمان تترجم بمعنى ( have / has + P.P )

لـقـد أثـبـتـت مــصــر أنها دولـة مـحـبة للــســلام
8- ( قــد ) إذا دلت على المستقبل تترجم بمعنى ( may + inf. )

قد يأتى أبى غدا My father may come tomorrow

9- فعل الملكية ( have – has – had ) لا يترجم عادة بمعنى
( يملك / يمتلك ) ولكنه يترجم ( لديه / لــــ )
