choose
she........home yet. wasn't isn't hasn't hadn't One of the uses of the Present Perfect Simple is that it refers to the PRESENT Following the form has/have + p.p. So we say She hasn`t come home yet Best Regards |

As in... the last one?
As in... the latest one? The last one could mean there are no more. The latest one could mean there are multiple occurrences, this being the latest. In conversation though, depending upon context, they could be interchangeable. Usually, 'latest' is used to mean 'most recent'

Dear Nagwasalem,
Look at the following examples: The first runner in the race was Ali, but the last one/runner was Amir Last week I visited grandma What was NAguib Mahfouz`s last novel called? The last time I saw Ola was a month ago Our last hope for reaching the World Cup was the last match against Algeria This is a song from Amr Diab`s latest album What is your latest news last = الأخير - الماضى latest = الأحدث last means the final one or the one happening after all latest means the most recent Best Regards |

a) the .. b) a .. c) an .. d) no article 2- she gave .... interview to a reporter a) the .. b) a .. c) an .. d) no article ايه الفرق بين الجملتين لو سمحتم It seems that there is no difference in using the same indefinite article AN We cannot use THE in either sentences because we cannot say WHICH INTERVIEW in both cases. Maybe the sentence was repeated in the book by mistake. But adding more words to the sentence didn`t change the primary meaning. We can say which reporter but we still cannot say which interview. 3- Travelling by plane is .... more expensive than going by bus "مش دي فيها غلطة برضه؟" a) much .. b) many .. c) most .. d) lot We can use much/a lot/far/ a little/ a bit / slightly / even / rather + comparative adjectives and adverbs 4- the article i"ve just read was ..... interesting a) most .. b) the more .. c) the much .. d) the less Most here means VERY 5- There is no .... for mistakes especially when you climb a dangerous mountain. a) hall .. b) room .. c) street .. d) road 6- .... teachers at my school work very hard a) a .. b) an .. c) the .. d) no article 7- He became ... arabic teacher in a secondary school a) the .. b) a .. c) an .. d) no article 8- ... education is some thing all people should value a) The .. b) A .. c) An .. d) no article Find the mistake:- 1- She is a deaf She is deaf. 2-Don't shout like that you will afraid the baby Don't shout like that you will scare / frighten the baby 3- I tried to imagine what life was like a hundred years old I tried to imagine what life was like a hundred years ago. 4- You didn't really see it.
