هل هناك فرق بين the last وthe latest ارجو الرد بسرعة من اى من الاسا تذه الكرام وتكم جزيل الشكر

As in... the last one?
As in... the latest one?
The last one could mean there are no more.
The latest one could mean there are multiple occurrences, this being the latest.
In conversation though, depending upon context, they could be interchangeable.


Usually, 'latest' is used to mean 'most recent'

It seems that there is no difference in using the same indefinite article AN
We cannot use THE in either sentences because we cannot say WHICH INTERVIEW in both cases.
Maybe the sentence was repeated in the book by mistake. But adding more words to the sentence didn`t change the primary meaning. We can say which reporter but we still cannot say which interview.

We can use much/a lot/far/ a little/ a bit / slightly / even / rather + comparative adjectives and adverbs

sports - sporting - sporty

They are all adjectives and they all mean the same in arabic

رياضى

But sports and sporting must come before a noun (in this meaning),

We say: a sports festival / day / car / centre

We say: a sporting event / activity

Sporty refers to a person

شخص رياضى

We say: He is sporty

There are more uses but in the book we study, we need to understand and study these only.

Dear Mr. Essam EL-Gaweesh,

I think this thread is the most important on the page. I don`t know why a lot of questions are asked in separate threads.

We need also to start one thread for paragraphs and another for translation, etc. instead of moving from one place to another. Whoever wants to add any material or ask any question, they will go to that thread. These new threads will serve as references to teachers and students alike. They will save a lot of time searching for things.

انا عندى اقتراح ممكن حضراتكم تعملو لنا نموذج اجابة لكتاب سربرايز لان انا بحل منه وبيقف معايا حجات كتير اوى فممكن لو سمحتو تعملوا لينا نموذج اجابة وخصوصا ان الكتاب فيه كل الاسئلةاو معظمها ارجوووووووووووووووكم لانى محتاجة اصحح الجوبة بتلعتى ووحدة وحدة هيخلص الكتاب وياريت يتعملو اعلان فى المنتدى بلييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييز
