1-in recent years, a number of research projects have been carried out to investigate how man’s best friend, the dog, earned this title. It was reported by researchers quite some time ago that all dogs, from tiny Chihuahua to very large great dance, are the domesticated descendants of wolves. Scientists, however, are still in the dark about exactly when dogs stopped being bloodthirsty wild animals and started to get along humans, even earning the title of ‘man’s best friend’

In 400 BC Hippocrates, the great physician regarded as the father of medicine, recommended a tea made from willow leaves for the treatment of fevers, aches and pains. Years later, scientists discovered that it was salicylic acid a substance found in willow trees which actually relived pain and reduced fever. Aspirin was perfected in 1879. Nowadays, aspirin is the most widely used painkiller in the world; 100 billion doses are consumed each year.

تم تنفيذ العديد من الأبحاث في الآونه الأخيره لتقصي و معرفه من هو أفضل صديق للإنسان و لقد حظى فيها الكلب على النصيب الأكبر.لقد صرح الباحثون منذ فتره ليست بالبعيده أن كل الكلاب بدايه من اليشواوا الصغير حتى الجريت دين العملاق يعتبروا السلاله الأليفه المنحدره من الذئاب.و بالرغم من ذلك فلازال العلماء يجهلون بدقه الوقت الذي توقفت فيه الكلاب عن حياه البريه و سفك الدماء و التحول إلى مرافقه الإنسان حتى حظيت بلقب الصديق الأفضل للإنسان.

هل تعلم أنه لولا وجود الأسبرين هذه الأيام لظل الناس يحاولون علاج نزلات البرد بواسطه المركبات المستخلصه من شجره الصفصاف ؟
نعم,هذا حقيقي . فلقد أوصى الطبيب أبوقراط " أبو الطب " في العام الأربعمائه قبل الميلاد بشاي مستخلص من أوراق شجره الصفصاف كعلاج لنزلات البرد و الآلام و الأوجاع. و بمرور السنين اكتشف العلماء وجود حمض السلسليك في اوراق شجره الصفصاف و الذي يعالج الأوجاع و يقلل من نزلات البرد.
و تم إنتاج الأسبرين لأول مره عام 1879 و الذي أصبح مسكن الآلام الأكثر إنتشارا في العام هذه الأيام حيث يتم بيع مئه مليار " بليون " جرعه سنويا.</div>

فى الاّونة الأخيرة تم تنفيذ عدد من مشروعات البحث لبحث كيف سمى الكلب بأفضل صديق للانسان و قد قال بعض الباحثون منذ فترة قصيرة أن كل الكلاب هم السلالة الاليفة للذئاب. و لكن مازال العلماء لا يعرفون بالضبط متى بدأ الكلاب فى التخلى عن التعطش للدماء و البدء فى مصاحبة النسان لدرجة ان يطلق على الكلب افضل صديق للانسان.

هل تعرف انة لولا وجود الاسبرين الاّن لظل الناس يحاولون معالجة الحمى بمركبات شجرة الصفصاف ؟
نعم هذا صحيح ففى عام 400 قبل الميلاد وصف الطبيب العظيم ابو الطب هيبوقراط شاى مصنوع من ورق شجر الصفصاف لعلاج الحمى و الصداع و الالم. و بعد عدة سنوات اكتشف العلماء ان مادة حمض الساليسلك الموجودة فى اشجار الصفصاف هى المسئولة عن تخفيف الالام و علاج الحمى.
فى عام 1879 تم تصنيع الاسبرين و اصبح الان مسكن الالم الاكثر استخداما فى العالم حيث يستخدم 100 بليون قرص سنويا.
