Mr Hooda, this title is not of my own cooking. Frankly speaking, I took it from a Nile TV announcer while she was interviewing Dr. F arouq El-Baz. It appealed to me very much. so I decided to use it here in this thread. The title you've just referred to is ok. too

Dear Mr.Hooda,
We only use "Peace be upon him" when we refer to Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) or Allah`s messengers, in general. Some TV channels like: Iqra and the Saudi Channels stick to this. Huda TV goes even further to add "blessings" : "Peace and blessings be upon him". Huda TV refers sometimes to the Righteous Caliphs using (Peace be upon them). However, they refer to any of the Prophet`s Wives and Daughters and the Prophet`s Companions using: "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them". If you want to greet, say simply: Assalamo Alaykom If you want to say a prayer say:May Allah bless ...... . Wallaho A`la Wa A`lam Best Regards آخر تعديل بواسطة Essam ABDOU ، 18-07-2009 الساعة 04:41 PM |
