OrwellGeorge Orwell was born in 1903 in Bengal to English parents. He wrote memoirs, critical essays, opinion columns, book reviews and novels. 'Animal Farm' and 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' are probably his most famous works, but there's a lot more to Orwell on The Orwell Prize website. Enjoy!
