افتراضي هههههههههههههههههههههههه

The Saudi Arabian regime, known for its sympathy for radical Islam, banned the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, but the members of the same organization are across Canada and engaging the political system.

Major Islamic groups in Canada like the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), the National Council of Canadian-Muslims -- formerly the Canadian affiliate of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) -- and others are full of members linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, its Jamaat-e-Islami sister group and their ideology.

Now, these Islamist groups are moving a step ahead. They are pushing their favored candidates in the nomination process of major Canadian political parties for the federal election of 2015.

I had a conversation with a staunch member of Jamaat-e-Islami in Canada, who assured me that eight to 10 members of the Muslim community would become Liberal Party of Canada MPs in 2015. He said, “We want Muslims’ representation in our parliament so that our members can watch our interests in the government.” By “Muslims,” he meant Jamaat-e-Islami and Muslim Brotherhood followers.

Some of their mosques are already pushing followers to become members of the Liberal Party of Canada for this purpose. Even some members of Pakistan’s pro-Taliban Tehreek-e-Insaaf group are involved.

ICNA official AQ Mufti puts the Liberal Party of Canada’s website link on his Facebook page and writes, “Be part of the change—Add your name and join the movement.”

ISNA Canada arranged an “Iftaar [a Ramadan break fast meal] with [Liberal Party leader] Justin Trudeau” last year, who has been criticized by moderate Muslim groups for embracing Islamists. ISNA’s July 12, 2013 website posting states:

“On Friday 12th July, 2013, over 1400 guests joined our special guest Justin Trudeau at the Islamic Center of Canada for the first ISNA Canada sponsored Iftaar of Ramadan 1434h! On behalf of ISNA Canada and our surrounding community, we thank Justin Trudeau and his team (including Omar Alghabra) for their visit and support.”

Both organizations, ICNA and ISNA, rely upon the teachings of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Abul A’ala Maududi and Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna as their spiritual guides.

Maududi preaches, “Islam wishes to destroy all states and governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam, regardless of the country or the nation which rules it.”

Al-Banna preached that Muslims should engage in violent jihad and civilizational jihad against the West, a preaching that a secret U.S. Muslim Brotherhood explanatory memorandum states the Brotherhood is still following today.

Other groups like the North American Muslim Foundation also follow these Islamist teachings. A February 3 posting on the group’s Facebook page advertises a “Family Pot Luck & Lecture” in Scarborough, Ontario about Maududi, who it calls the “Mujaddid [Islamic revivalist] of the 20th Century.” A second post on March 22 advertises yet another event in honor of Maududi.

The promotion of certain Muslim candidates by such organizations is not a good sign for Canadian politics. It is true that not all Muslim candidates seeking political party nominations are Islamists, but most of them got huge support from Islamist organizations.

Canadian political parties, particularly the Liberal Party of Canada, need to be careful about the Islamists’ penetration into their orbits.
