The Nile

The Nile is the longest river in the world. Egypt is called the gift of the Nile .The Nile divides Egypt into the Eastern and Western Deserts. Without the Nile, Egypt would be a desert. The Nile water is a matter of life and death for Egypt. It provides Egypt with 95% of its water needs .It makes our soil fertile rich for growing crops. The Nile is not only the main source of water for farming but also it is a source of fish wealth and an important means of transport. Our duty is to keep the Nile clean and stop throwing rubbish into it. We should keep every drop of its water from wasting. We should also rationalize its consuming. The upstream and downstream countries have to cooperate and reach a settlement to solve the problem of water by peaceful and diplomatic means.
