الاخوة الافاضل ان شاء الله سيخصص هذا القسم لمساعدة ابنائنا الطلاب فى كيفية التعامل مع موضوع التعبير سواء كان براجراف او خطاب وياريت اللى عندة اى مادة علمية ينزلها فى هذا القسم وشكرا لحسن تعاونكم
Writing is a very complex skill. It involves both mental activity (thinking of ideas and ordering them) and motor activity (moving the pen or typing on a keyboard). But there are things you can do to improve. First, have a positive attitude. Don’t say "I cannot write". Say "I cannot write yet, but I will in the future." Second, realize that even the best writers don't do everything perfectly the first time. They write and rewrite and polish their words. Don't expect to have everything perfect the first time. Third, learn to write in steps. Prewriting Steps - (1) Collect ideas. This might involve doing some reading or asking people in order to get information or ideas. - (2) Put your ideas into a logical order. Usually we put the main idea first, and then put supporting details after it. You can do this as a brief outline, just notes, not full sentences. Writing Steps - (3) Now write your ideas in sentences, in order. Don't worry about grammar and spelling too much at this point. - (4) Write a good beginning sentence that introduces the topic, and an ending sentence that summarizes or draws a concludion. Some people think it is better to write the first sentence at the beginning of the writing process so that you focus your ideas on that sentence. - (5) NOW go back and correct grammar and spelling. Fourth, we learn by doing. Practise. Practise. A little bit every day. - Sometimes it is helpful to pick up your pen and make yourself write for 10 or 15 minutes without stopping. Choose a topic and write about it non-stop. If you can't think of anything, keep writing "I can't think of anything" over and over until an idea comes. Just keep writing. - Also practise by following the steps above. Fifth, prepare now for the exam. On an exam you have limited time, so you have to learn to think of ideas and order them quickly. Starting now, get ideas together in your head and practise writing about different things. You might gather information in Arabic, but eventually you're going to have to know how to say those things in English, so start working now. Look at the exam specifications for your year to see what kinds of topics you might have to write about. Your teacher can suggest topics that might appear on the exam — probably topics that have been covered in the book or topics that have been in the news in the past year. Sixth, Seventh, Eighth. Read, read, read. People who read a lot write better. Try to read a little bit extra every day or several times a week. If there is a library near you, join it and borrow books in simplified English. Many great novels have been simplified for English learners. Also read news online or in print. This will help you to write about current events. Just be aware that most of the materials on the internet have not been properly written or edited, so be careful what you choose to read. Books are more likely to be error-free. Even online newspapers have a lot of errors because newspapers are cutting back on the number of copy editors they use. But still I encourage you to read news in English because you will probably encounter some of these topics on your exams. To summarize: change your attitude, realize that writing is done in steps, learn to write in steps, practise writing, and read a lot.
