Grammar ( Adding Emphasis) تأكيد الكلام و تشديده
يمكن أن تكون الجملة أقوى عن طريق اضافة adverb أو فعل مساعد auxiliary
Examples:
 I really hated that film. It was so violent.(Adverb)
 I do love pop music( auxiliary )
لاحظ الفرق في المعنى بين الجل التالية :
o You work is good.
o Your work is very good.
o Your work is extremely good.
-Very بدلا من ( ly ) لاحظ الظروف المنتهية ب
(extremely للغاية – really حقا – terribly بدرجة فظيعة – awfully بدرجة مخيفة – incredibly بدرجة لا تصدق fantastically بدرجة رائعة – immensely بدرجة كبيرة – enormously بدرجة هائلة – terrifically بدرجة رائعة ) dreadfully بدرجة سيئة
 لاحظ أن الظروف السابقة تسبق الصفات و الظروف الاخرى .
1. He is very sorry. = He is awfully sorry.=He is terribly sorry.
2. This mountain is incredibly high.
3. I can't solve this problem, it is extremely difficult.
4. Samir is really a sincere friend.
5. I have been awfully worried about this week's exam.
6. My teacher was extremely helpful.
7. This question is dreadfully confusing.
8. My horse ran terribly slowly

Very / so much لاحظ
 I enjoyed the film very much.= I enjoyed the film so much.
 Thank you very much = Thank you so much.
