1- نضيف er مع comparative (صفة المقارنة بين أثنين ) –
ونضيف est مع superlative
( صفة المقارنة بين واحد ومجموعة ) فى الصفات ذو المقطع الواحد

* إذا طلب استخدام as…as.. فى جملة بها مقارنة بين اثنين نبدأ بالفعل الثاني و
ننفى الجملة و تحذف صيغة المقارنة من الصفة.

* The train isn't as fast as the plane.
لاحظ هذا التعبير:
* This is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen . رأيتها في حياتي.
# What's the best film you've ever seen.?
* نستخدم بعد صيغة التفضيل:

In + المكان
Of + الشخص
· In the world / in the hotel / in the team / in the company
He is the best student in the class .
He is the best student of his friends .

يمكن وصف الصفة باضافة الكلمات الاتية

a little / a bit / much / a lot / far

· Going by plane is much more expensive.
· Going by bus is a lot cheaper than going by plane.
· Her illness was far more serious than we first thought.

Most + Adj. = Very
· The book you lent me was most interesting
= very interesting.

The+ فعل + فاعل + صفة مقارنة The كلما = كلما... فعل + فاعل + صفة

· The higher we go, the lower the temperature is.
· The more you study, the higher marks you get.

2- The Nile is the longest river in the world. ( No other…)
3- I haven't seen such an interesting film. ( This is….)
