معك حق أخي الكريم فيما تقول فجزاك الله خيراً

وإليكم بحث عن استخدام كلمة Apostle قام به أحد الأخوة من قبل

I wanted to add a new commonly mistranslated term today which is, "Rasool"

Commonly translated into "Apostle", and that is way too wrong, let's look at the meaning of apostle in Collins Dictionary:

Quote:
apostle NOUN 1 one of the twelve disciples chosen by Christ to preach his gospel
2 an ardent supporter of a cause or ment

As you can see, that does not give you the meaning of "Rasool" nor "Nabey", and a good translation for this term would be "the Prophet".

Quote:
Prophet NOUN⋄ the main name used of Mohammed, the founder of Islam

However, I do not prefer using "Prophet", though I used to use it before. Now, looking at their definition of the term I would prefer using "The Messenger Of Allah".
