but...like doesn't always have be followed with a "to"
it can be
would you like going to the cinema
orrrrrr
would you like to go to the cinema!!!!
and sure, i agree that "fancy" makes sence...but if i had to choose, I would stil pick "like"l :D

ونتناقش
like فعلا ممكن ييجى بعدها (ing) او infinitive
باختلاف فى المعنى
I like drinking tea = at any time , in general
I like to drink tea = now , in particular
حلو الكلام لغاية كده
would like معناه want بالضبط
وجيب ان تتبع بـ infinitive
على فكرة infinitive ليس معناها مصدر
ولكن مصدر مسبوق بـ to
وتحت امركم فى اى مناقشة
