تفضل whether عندما يكون هناك تخيير or أو جملة شرطية بعدها
تعتمد when علي المعني المقصود - ماضيبسيط + ماضيتامwhen

- When I arrived at the station, the train had left.

- When + ماضيتام + ماضيبسيط

- When I had arrived at the station, the train left.

=The moment + ماضيتام + ماضيبسيط-

- The moment I had arrived at the station, the train left.

= On+n. اسـم/ v.ing+ماضىبسيــط

- On my arrival at the station, the train left.

- When + ماضيبسيط + ماضيبسيط

-When I arrived, the train left.
