When the subject before WISH and after WISH are the same (person), we use COULD not WOULD (when WISH is used to express our desire for a change in a situation or someone`s behaviour)
Look again at another example from SB Grammar Review D p.77 ex.1(e) and its answer in TB p. 225
Also, on WB p.64, the only sentence that`s correct among the Find The Mistakes sentences is:
Leila wishes she could read faster.
