Dear colleagues,

In translating some of the words in Sec 3 new books, there`s a difficulty in reaching the exact meaning in as few words as possible; Just like we faced problems last year in translating DEBIT CARDS.
In book 3 we have many words. These are my humble translations for them.

escapism تلاهى
classics كلاسيكيات / العلوم اليونانية و اللاتينية
debate مُناظرة

Unit 3

geothermal من حرارة الأرض
wind turbines توربينات الرياح / مُولّدات طاقة بالرياح
capture energy يلتقط / يجذب الطاقة

Unit 4

attachment مُرفق
district حى / منطقة
establish himself as رسّخ / جعل لنفسه مكانة ك..

Unit 5

amnesia فُقدان الذاكرة
transmitter radio جهاز بث /إرسال لاسلكى

Unit 6

harden يتصّلب
cardboard ورق مُقّوى / كرتون
sap عُصارة


This is what I have come across so far, but I`m sure there are more words to deal with
