A pesticide is a chemical used to control pests. Pesticides kill either by ingestion or simple contact and can be used to rid a home, office, garden, or farm of every type of pest, from fungus to insects. The term pesticide covers a wide spectrum of different chemicals and products. All pesticides are not created equal, and there are major differences between pesticides for industrial vs. home use, as well as differences between pesticides used for the same purpose. There are thousands of pesticides on the market and it’s important to do your research before choosing one.
So what exactly is the difference between a pesticide and an insecticide? Well, an insecticide is simply a specialized type of pesticide used to kill insects. So all insecticides are pesticides and some pesticides are insecticides. Insecticides also range from industrial to ones designated for home use. There are even insecticides used to kill specific insects, like cockroaches or wasps .


so the right choice is inseticides but pesticide is still good and can be used so i think it is wrong to put these two words in a choice sentence
