Wonder opened, they sent a bunch of pieces that were going to be in their home collection. I thought it was so cute. They also sent these blue Chinese dogs (bottom right shelf).” Candles (top right shelf): “We get a lot of really beautiful candles as gifts, so I always keep them around to keep my office scented. I would say I have 15 candles that have never been used.” Lola by Marc Jacobs fragrance: “Marc Jacobs sent this to me and wrote a little note himself, so I always kept the bottle as reminder.” My wedding photo: "It always makes me happy. Plus, I look really in shape. It’s my motivation to get back to that body [laughs]." Stack of books: “I collect fashion books. I’m obsessed with (bottom book). I really like —it has great photographs. Art is so tied to fashion, so I always refer to art books for inspiration, even if it’s just how to describe a print or pattern. The (behind the stack) is an illustration book—it’s another art book. I always have a lot of books that I can turn to for inspiration, like when I’m working on my “" column or inspiration pages. It’s nice not to just look at current collections, but to also look at old photography and retro celebrity images—it makes things more interesting."
