1-why did Albert de Morcerf and Franz go to Rome? To spend the carnival.
2-why did Franz travel to Livorno?because he wanted to go to the island of Monte Cristo where he can shoot goats.
3-what did Franz find at the island beach? He found the men of Sinbad the sailor.
4-where did Franz go with them? He went to their boss and they tied his eyes with a black cloth.
5-where did they take him? They took him to the underground palace with expensive carpets and wall hangings.
6-where was Franz when he woke up? He was outside the cave.
6-when did Sinbad the sailor go in the morning? He left early to Malaga .
7-why can't the police catch the ship of Sinbad the sailor? Because his boat was faster than the police boats.
8-what did Albert and Franz ask signor Pastrini? They asked him to find them a carriage to go to the carnival.
9-why was it dangerous to drive outside the city walls? Because there were bandits.
10-who was the chief of bandits? Luigi Vampa.
11-where did they drive to? To see the Colosseum at moonlight.
12-what did Franz hear ? a conversation between Luigi Vampa and Sinbad the sailor.
13-what did Luigi ask Sinbad? He asked Sinbad to save his friend Peppino and Luigi would do anything Sinbad wants.
14-what did Franz see at the theatre? He saw Sinbad the sailor and a very beautiful woman.
What did the count of Monte Cristo offer Albert and Franz? He offered them his carriage and to rooms to see the carnival and he invited them to breakfast.
15-what did Albert take from the woman in the green mask? He took a message that tells him to meet him at 7 at the church of san Giacomo.
16-what happened after that? Franz received a letter from Luigi Vampa by Peppino.
17-what did the message say? It told franz to pay20000 francs to let Albert go.
18-what did franz do? He asked the count for help because he is Luigi's friend.
19-what did the count do? He accepted to help franz save Albert and Luigi agreed to let Albert go free.
The count in Paris
1- why did the count go to Paris to meet Albert's parents
2- what did Fernand and Mercedes do? They thanked the count and they did not know he was Edmund Dantes .
3- who was Bertuccio? He was the count's steward who found him a house in Auteuil .
4- what did Bertuccio tell the count? He told the count that his brother was killed and Villefort refused to punish the killers so he decided to take revenge on Villefort.
5- what was Villefort? He was the crown prosecutor.
6- what did Bertuccio see in the house of Auteuil? He saw Villefort burying a baby in the garden.
7-what did Bertuccio do? he pushed a knife in Villefort's chest and took the boy from the box and took him to an orphanage,.
8- what did Bertuccio do with the boy? He and his brother's Assunta took care of the boy and called him Benedetto .
9- what did Benedetto do when he was fourteen? He took the money and set fire in the house and Assunta was found dead.
10- what did the count do with madam and baron Danglars? He bought her horses and gave them back to her and gave the banker 500000 francs.
11- where did Maximillian morel live after his father's death? With his sister Julie and her husband Emmanuel .
12- what did monsieur morel think about the man who helped him? He thought it was Edmund Dantes.

1- how was Villefort? After his first wife Renee saint Meran had died he married again and had a boy called Edouard.
2- who lived in Villefort's house? Villefort? Valentine, Noirtier , Edouard and his new wife.
3- how was Noirtier? He was paralysed.
4- who did valentine love? She loved Maximillian morel.
5- where did they meet? They met at the garden through the hole in the wall.
6-what did they decide? They decided to run away because they can't get married.
7-what did her stepmother want? She wanted all her money to go to her son Edouard .
8- who wanted to marry valentine? Baron franz D'Epinay.
9- what did Maximillian decide to do? he decided to kill anyone who would marry her.
10- what did Madame Villefort talk to the count about? The talked about poisons.
11- what did Albert and Chateau Renaud see in the theatre? They saw Madame Danglars, her daughter Eugenie and her friend Lucien Debary .
12-who did they see else? The saw the count and Haydee "his slave"
13- what happened when Haydee saw Fernand de Morcerf? She screamed because he was a traitor who took money from the enemy and gave them her father Ali pasha .
14- who was Andréa Cavalcanti? He was Villefort's son Benedetto.
15- what did the count do with Andréa ? he let him meet his false father Bartolomeo Cavalcanti.
16- how much did the count give them? He gave them 100000 francs 50000 each.
17-what did the count send to Lucien Debary? An unsigned message that he would sell all his Spanish bonds.
18- what did Lucien Debary do? he told Madame Danglars so she told the banker who lost 1000000 francs.
19-why was Villefort and Madame Danglars afraid at the house of Auteuil? Because they remembered their crime.
20- what did Villefort tell Madame Danglars? He told her not to speak to anyone until he knows more about the count.
21why did Maximillian and valentine decide to escape? Because her grandmother wanted her to get married soon.
22-what happened on the day of the marriage? Valentine's grandmother died of poison.
23- who was accused of killing the old lady? Valentine .
Revenge
1- what did Noirtier did franz? He told him that he killed his father because he was one of the king's family members.
2- what did franz do? he decided not to marry valentine so valentine was so happy.
3- what did Albert read in the newspaper? He read that French officer sold Ali pasha a friend of the French to the enemy and his first name was Fernand.
4- what did Albert do next? He went to his friend Beauchamp to know more about this.
5-was Fernand a traitor? Yes he was.
6-what did Beauchamp do? he went to Greece and brought papers that say that Fernand was a traitor.
7- what did Albert and Mercedes do after that ? they left the house for Fernand.
8- who sent the papers to the newspaper? Danglars took the papers from the count and sent them to the news paper.
9- what did Albert ask the count? He invited the count to a fight at ten in the morning.
10-who did the count met at home? He met Mercedes who asked him not to kill her own son.
11- what did the count say? He told her not to be afraid.
12- did she know the count now? Yes, she did.
13- what did she say? She said that she loves Edmund still.
14- what did Albert do in the morning? He went in a friendly way to the count and told him that his mother told him the whole story.
15- was Fernand a traitor? Yes , he was and Haydee said this in the upper house in front of his friends.
16-what did Fernand do after that? He killed himself with his gun and Mercedes went to live in Edmond's old house.
17- what did Albert do? he joined the army and went to Africa.
18-what happened to Danglars? When he paid 5000000 francs to the count he was bankrupt.
19-what happened to Andréa Cavalcanti? He was arrested by the police before signing his marriage to Eugenie.
20-what did Eugenie do? she decided not to get married and traveled with a friend to Spain and Italy.
21- what did the count do with Maximillian and valentine? He promised to protect her.
22-what happened to valentine? She drank a sleeping potion that makes her look dead.
23- what did Maximillian do when he knew that valentine was dead? He decided to kill himself.
24- what did the count tell Maximillian? He told him to wait for a month.
25-what did Andréa Cavalcanti say in court? he said he was Villefort's son so the crown prosecutor went mad.

A new life
1- what happened when Maximillian was at the island of Monte Cristo? He met valentine.
2-what happened to the chateau D'If? It was opened for the public and it was no longer a prison.
3-what did the count do at the chateau D'If? He saw his own room and father Faria's room.
4-what happened to Danglars? After he took 5000000 francs from the bank he was kidnapped by Luigi Vampa.
5-what did Luigi's men do to Danglars? They tied him and made him pay much money for food.
6-what happened after that? After 15 days he lost all his money and remembered his crimes.
7-what did the count do to him? He gave him the money back and told Luigi to let him go.
8-where did the count go? He left with Haydee.
