While head coach Rex Ryan is keeping relatively silent about Revis at this time, Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum and team owner Woody Johnson are more vocal about the cornerback’s status on the team. Johnson went as far today as to say he doesn’t expect things to be worked out with Revis in time for the Jets’ regular season opener on Sept. 13, and Tannenbaum went further in depth with his explanation of current talks and a hang-up in the case.
